Institutions
ICONO manages dynamic socio-cultural and educational projects in some of the main public institutions of the Catalan cultural scene. In each of them, ICONO carries out different tasks: staff management, guided tours, educational services, management of the store, among others.
Museo Joan Abelló
The Museo Joan Abelló is housed in a Modernist building built in 1908. It was opened in 1999 and it houses part of the foundation of the Joan Abelló collection which he donated to the town of Mollet.
The museum’s ethos is based on the permanent exhibition with Catalan artworks from the 19th and 20th centuries. At the same time, the Museum promotes contemporary art with temporary exhibitions and with the Mollet Art contest dedicated to young artists of our country.
The Museum consists of several spaces: The Artist’s House, a labyrinth where the visitor, little by little, discovers the artist’s complex, interesting and diverse collection and the Aparador, a space to produce and divulge the visual arts, an opening for the interdisciplinary nature of the language of emerging artists.
It has a wide activity programme for schools and families.

Museu Història de Catalunya (MHC)
The aim of the Museum of the History of Catalonia is to put the history of Catalonia on display and make people aware of their shared heritage, and so help them identify with their national history.
The building that we know today as the Palau de Mar is the former General Stores, the sole building of Barcelona's Old Port still standing. The Stores were designed in 1881 by the engineer Maurici Garrán, the first director of the Barcelona Port Board of Works, and were intended for use as trading depots.

Gran Teatre del Liceu
Founded in 1847 on Barcelona's La Rambla, the Gran Teatre del Liceu is an opera house that has retained its role as a culture and arts centre throughout its history and one that represents one of the symbols of the city.
Today, it is a publicly-owned theatre – by the Catalan Regional Government, Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Provincial Council and the Ministry of Culture – under the administration of the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu, which, besides the above institutions, incorporates the Patronage Committee and the old Societat del Gran Teatre del Liceu.

Museu de Sant Cugat
The Museu de Sant Cugat opened its doors with the aim of promoting the investigation, conservation and diffusion of the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Sant Cugat, from a wide point of view. The Museum has different buildings: the Monastery and the Casa Aymat.
The Monastery, a Benedictine construction of Medieval Barcelona which has been totally restored, is the main and the most emblematic building of the Museum. It has rooms for temporary exhibitions, a concert hall, workshop rooms and a special room for the collections.
At Casa Aymat, collections of Catalan contemporary tapestries are usually displayed. They were made at the factory that was located in this building, Casa Aymat. It has also a room for temporary exhibitions that receives contemporary artwork.
